SuzieM is a trademark that was founded in 2013. It features clothes and accessories by Susanna Makerova - a fashion designer, prize winner of the international competition of national costume "ETNO-ERATO" (ЭТНО-ЭРАТО), holder of fashion house diplomas from Pierre Cardin and Vyacheslav Zaizev, and holder of the "Golden Scissors" award for professionalism.

Susanna Makerova(Khunagova) was born on August 22 in 1979 in Maikop, the Republic of Adygheya.

She is a graduate of Moscow State University (2002) with a diploma in "Philology; Teacher of English language and foreign literature.”

In 2005, Makerova defended a thesis in philology.

Since 2007, she has been the head of the English Philology department at Adyghe State University.

Susanna Makerova debuted as a fashion designer with the Adyghe ethnic-inspired collection, "Circassian Lady," in 2007 and participated in the open republic competition for young fashion-designers, "Youth Runway -2007," where she received first prize.

In 2008, she participated in the IX International Haute Couture competition "ETNO-ERATO" (Moscow) and won the contest for "Ethnic motives in modern interpretation.” Makerova received a diploma at the Culture Festival "Interfashion" (Ulan-Bator) and was nominated for the Professionalism award at the X International Jubilee competition, "ETNO-ERATO" (Moscow).

Susanna Makerova’s clothing collection "Ashemez", which is devoted to the Adyghe national musical instruments, was named the winner of the "Golden Scissors" prize, and the collection “Music of the Mountains” was rewarded for the Professionalism Diploma by Vyacheslav Zaizev's Fashion House. Susanna Makerova was a participant in the fashion exhibition at Pierre Cardin's fashion house in Lacoste and her designs received official recognition among the best collections. As the founder of the SuzieM trademark and SuzieM fashion house, a young designer is inspired by the concept of intersecting ethnic traditions with modernity.
